Itunes podcast downloads two versions of same episode






















We talked about a lot of random things in this episode, as usual.. Had a great time chatting with Panos about the new Surface lineup and Windows 11! On this very very very very special podcast, Justine reflects on her interview with Tim Cook after the Apple Event. Full video version is on her YouTube channel but this is the audio version! We filmed this once before but Justine lost the audio.. Still on the east coast chatting about family, roof rats, and Jenna's latest struggles. This is the best podcast ever!! It is so good I have listened to most of the episodes multiple times.

Always funny and entertaining! My settings haven't changed. I have it set to check every hour and download the most recent one and to only keep unplayed podcasts.

Close iTunes, go into your music folder, rename iTunes to iTunesold. You should be starting from scratch now. Add your Podcasts and see if that helps. Your starting a fresh library now, that was only a test to see if your library data is corrupted. If all else fails, just close iTunes, delete the new iTunes folder, rename iTunesold back to iTunes and everything should return to normal.

Thanks for asking this question because I'm having the exact same issue. Just spent 2 frustrating hours last night on it and wanted you to know you aren't the only one! I'm going to try Glenno's suggestion when I get home tonight. Now, when the podcast list unfolds it'll display every single podcast on that feed. Is the newest podcast episode in that list?

Sep 26, AM in response to sethm1 In response to sethm1. Very similar issue here - podcasts duplicating multiple times on the iPhone and twice for certain ones in iTunes. Anyone landed on a fix yet? Have tried deleting the podcasts app and reloading but the same issue appears shortly after a couple syncs.

Aug 8, PM in response to sethm1 In response to sethm1 The first thing that comes to mind is to make sure there isn't an update for the Podcasts app. Try pulling to refresh the list of podcasts on the iPad. That might help sort it out.
