App store wont let me download youtube

I went onto the App Store thinking I could download it again from there, the "open" button was there but clouded out so couldnt press it. I then deleted the app completely from her phone and try downloading it again but again the download button is clouded out so I can't do this. Any suggestions on what to do now?
